My story
Why I do this work.
I became a clinical psychologist because I believe everyone deserves a space where they truly can be heard, understood, and accepted, without having to hold everything together, putting on a brave face, or finding the right words.
Sometimes, reaching out for therapy can feel daunting. Perhaps you grew up in a family where feelings weren’t really talked about. Maybe you’ve become the person everyone else turns to, while quietly carrying your own struggles. Or perhaps nothing feels particularly “wrong”. You simply know that you want more for yourself and are ready to understand yourself more deeply.
You don’t have to have it all figured out before you begin. You don’t need to know exactly what’s wrong, or even where to start. We can begin with whatever is taking up space in your mind in the therapeutic space.
Therapy isn’t about fixing who you are. It’s about creating the space to understand yourself, work through what may be holding you back, build healthier ways of coping and relating, and develop the confidence to live more intentionally. It’s an opportunity to grow into a version of yourself that feels more grounded, connected, and authentically you.
You don’t have to wait until things become overwhelming to ask for support. Choosing therapy can simply be a decision to invest in yourself: to feel better, understand yourself better, and create a life that feels more like your own.
You’re allowed to ask for help.
You’re allowed to want more for yourself.
And you don’t have to do it all alone.
